Hello,
I own a 1996 SL500 which is the highest output factory V8 SL with 315 hp and 347 lb.ft.. Iam pretty sure it is because it has 4-valve heads, and every other year has 3-valve heads. I was just pondering the idea of putting a set of these 4-valve heads on a 2000 E55 that I just picked up. I dont know what would be involved in doing this kind of modification but would it not increase the output if properly tuned? or would this just be a waste of time? any ideas would be appreciated..
Thanks,
Jm
