New E55 Owner
Yesterday I took delivery of my new '02 E55, tectite/charcoal. It is one gorgeous machine. I shopped prices at every dealership in TX, AR, OK, and LA, and found the best deal right here in town.
I can't wait till I'm past the first thousand miles. Even keeping it under 3k RPM, it's as quick as any other car I've ever owned.

My options
. . . active ventilated seats and COMAND.
Passed on ES1 and on K2A for now (I plugged in my MP3 player, so I don't need a CD changer, but I will probably add the phone soon, since I do a lot of business from the road).
Tectite car (looks like hematite, according to my wife) with charcoal/charcoal interior.
Got what I believe to be a spanking good deal. Shopped every MB dealer in AR, LA, OK, and TX, and found the best price on the car I wanted right here in Houston.
Don't know why they put the garage remotes in the rear view mirror -- I keep knocking my mirror out of alignment when I open my garage door.
Santa has been very very good to me. Maybe he'll bring my wife a digital camera so I can post pictures soon.

The best way to use the garage door opener is to put your four fingers on top and use your thumb on the button.
So what you do is squeeze thereby applying equal pressure on the top and bottom.
That way, you don't end up moving the mirror.
