2002 E55 AMG
New to forum, I need help with wheel question
Last year my better half purchased a 2002 E55 AMG with Dunlop 9000 sport tires and 18" staggered Monoblock wheels that are OE for the car. My issue is that we live in Connecticut and these tires are terrible on any kind of snow accumulation. Even 1/4 inch makes just getting on the driveway an adventure. I'm looking for a decently priced and good quality set of wheels (new or used OEM or even aftermarket) for the E55 that I can put all season tires on for the winter. Any suggestions on Tires would also be appreciated. I'm confused about the offsets and which wheels actually fit the same as the OE wheels on a 2002 E55. All that offset stuff has me nuts.
PS: Sorry for the simple question. I'm sure this has been discussed 100 times already but since this is my first time on this forum it's new to me.

Caution. Tire Rack is the best source but they and everyone else will say a 245/40/18 tire on a 18x8.0 et35 and 18x8.5 et35 rim will fit up front. Depending on the tire having a rounded or broad shoulder a 245/40/18 tire may not work on a 18x8.0 et35 - I have tried. To use a 18x8.5 et35 rims you would have to use a 235/40/18 tire. These setups may fit up front on non AMG but I speculate the steering knuckle is different on W210 AMG's.
