Update on Ken's passing
To each of Ken's Forum Brothers/Sisters,
I am overwhlemed by the outpouring of kind words, sincere thoughts and prayers-it is very evident why one of Ken's greatest personal pursuits in life was his E-55 and this forum! I still do not have all the details surrounding his untimely death, but can let you know it occurred late yesterday afternoon outside of Denver while he was snowmobiling. It was a single vehicle accident and the exact/correct details have not been made public, and I am in no position to speculate. Ken was a very, very experienced automobile driver, a good outdoorsman and has logged many hours snowmobiling in recent years. I have yet to speak with any members of Ken's family, as they are together now remembering how rich and blessed Ken's life was, and how he lived life to the fullest. The passing of a loved one is piercing, and much will be lessened when recounting the wonderful memories. I apologize if my initial post portayed me as a family member, I am not, but my closeness to Ken in 25 years made me feel such. Life is short, it has no promises, but each day we can promise and prove to our loved ones that our greatest goal is to enjoy each precious moment we are given with them. Be strong, and let us remember Ken in a joyous manner.
Thank you very much.

My prayers are with E55's family. The good news is I believe he had his spiritual relationship in order...good for you Ken. This truly is where the rubber meets the road.
A life lesson to us all; keep a short list. Brother love to you and your family, 55.

It is always very sad when we lose a loved one or dear friend but it sounds like Ken was prepared to meet his creator. What a blessing that is. I can only hope that I could conduct my life so that I too can as prepared. Our prayers go out to his family and loved ones.

some nice cars ;)
Very sad to hear this. I am new here, none of u know me that well, but if i go missing from this forum for too long, pray for me aswell, as i pray for Ken.
Death and losses teach u something that ppl ignore so much... and that is, life is fleeting, there r never any warranties... pls pls pls.. everyone, love each other and eliminate hate from ur hearts. No matter how rude or bad the next person is, offer a smile or a hug or anything emotionally warm... we can all go out in mere seconds...never forget that.
My love and prayers to everyone here .

Very Sad especially for the family and little ones.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
Perhaps Ken would've added "I am the 55 at WOT; I am the chirp of the S/C"

I PM'd Ken several times about E55 mods and each time he was very kind to share his knowledge and experience with me. I'm 40 and this really puts a lot of things in perspective. God bless his family and friends he left behind.
