do 17 inch wheels work on E55?

do 17 inch wheels work on E55?
thinking about getting 17" wheels & snow tires for next winter. question: do 17" rims clear the E55 brakes? wheels will be 17x7.5, 35mm offset, with 235/45/17 tires.

17s will clear. The 210 E55s share the same brakes as the 208 CLK55 and 202 C43. They came w/ 17s stock.

17 x 7.5 ET35 front
17 x 8.5 ET30 rear

some will and some won't. Do a test fit first. this 17" did not:
