Anyone have some extra stock intake parts?
So I'm checking the oil the other day and it hits me like a ton of bricks--one of the air inlet tubes is missing: the driver's side inlet pipe that connects the air intake from the bumper and the air box is gone and the air box is sucking air directly from the engine compartment. You can see the air filter through the hole.
I'm no mechanic, but I'm pretty sure this is probably the source of the noise I'm hearing.
If anyone has replaced their intake and has some extra parts lying around I'd be interested in buying the driver's side air intake tube.

Now, if you have a "ticking noise" .........a collapsing engine mount sometimes causes a strange, lifter like noise from the driver side on acceleration. (When in gear, because the engine is engaged and twisting the transmission) The noise is almost like a tapping noise. Been there, done that. They say the tapping noise is when the exhaust is in contact with the twisting engine/transmission. I hope it helps.
