Hey Guys,

Here is the Latest Mod. I had Installed X-Pipe and Delete Resonator a while back and kept the Factory AMG muffller with tips. It just wasn't loud enough for me. So I had a Magnaflow installed with some cool tips. See attached pictures. It sounds like a Vette to me but better IMHO. I also had the chance to race a 06 GTO. From the light I took him by three cars and he finally caught up to my rear bumper by the time I stopped racing. I had a good feeling thats as far as he was going as I started to pick up speed.
Let me know what you guys think?

Did you feel horsepower gain when you took out the resonator and put in the x-pipes? What exactly happened when you did this?

What other mods do you have? I'm debating grabbing an 02' 55 just to satisfy the empty feeling I have after I sold my CLK. I wasn't sure they were fast enough but obviously you can spank the punks in their GTOs.

I think the E's were a bit quicker than the CLKs even. No?

When I took out the resonator and put the X-pipe. To be honest when you have that much horspower stock and 0-60 in 5 sec or so; it is hard to feel any gains. I know it sounded better. Then with the Magnaflow it sounded even better to me. Maybe it felt stronger. Other mods so far are what I just mentioned and H & R springs. I am suppose to get K & N filters today and by next week I am going for the Powerchip. I just need more speed

w210 55s and w208 55s are about the same. They both have the same power. Car and Driver even stated the clk55 is faster. I was referring to an E55..since it can seat 5 and the clk only 4.
