I am not sure of the 110 mph. However i did get low 13's (corrected time). I think it does pull harder with the powerchip. But I am used to it now. Don't have pulleys yet. I was shooting for high 12's. But I think weather was awefully hot that day.

thanx raffie for the info.....so far i have the resonator delete, k&n's, H&R springs with #2 pads in rear and #1's in front, and royal purple oil/differential change.....next will be the pulley upgrade and im thinking about an ecu upgrade.....that will be it for me concerning upgrades....would like a kleemann, but, i think spending another $12k is too much(although i would love to run low 12's at w211 trap speeds
....nice ride u have there....ive got the chrome monoblocks too....looks good... i think i will go with 285's in rear and 255's in front on next tire change...well keep reppin the w210's with pride

Did you ever take you car to the track? Whats you best time? Just wondering since you are not in Cali. Again my personal best was:
UnCorrected ET:
13.96 (sec) @ 102.55 (MPH)
Corrected ET to Sea Level:
13.423 (sec) @ 106.726 (MPH)
Thats with my listed Mods.

currently i am running staggered 245's/275's bridgestones on stock amg chrome monoblocks. im looking for a slightly more aggressive look especially in the rear...im confident that a 285 should give me the look i want without sacraficing drivability... not sure about the 255's. a 245 might be the biggest i can go up front because of spacing....and i know spacers are a no-no...well anyway when i do upgrade ill give them a try and see if the wider tires work....if not oh well ill go back to the 275's.......thanx for the info though

That's cutting it a bit slim on 19's depending on the width of your wheels. These sizes are typically used on the smaller C-classes with 19's. If you're running 8.5 front and 9.5-10" rear, you should be on 245 front and 275 rear. These cars are heavy and this is just to run a bit safer...

Hi guys, I have a '98 model W210 E55 and managed a personal best of 13.224sec at 107.32mph. My car's basically stock except for K&N air filters and i ran with a half tank of 98RON fuel with octane booster added. Back seats, spare tire plus jack were also removed.
This was done on Weds Oct 12th 2005 at WSID, Sydney, Australia. (Elevation is 70m or 230 feet above sea level...so times are Uncorrected and as is). Conditions was also as follows ....
Time 5.58pm
Air Temp: 17 degrees Celcius (62.6 degrees Fahrenheit)
Relative humidity : 82
Absolute Barometer : 30.00
Track temp : 29 degrees Celcius (84.2 degrees Fahrenheit)
Here is the break up of my run :
R/T : 0.181
60: 2.035
330: 5.632
660: 8.573
mph: 82.22
1000: 11.105
ET: 13.224
MPH: 107.32

Thanks for that. I find that although colder temps allows the engine to produce more power, the biggest problem is warming the tyres enough to get adequate traction at the drag strip. If i could improve my 60 foot time; via better traction; I'm sure i could gain a much better ET than if the temp dropped another 10-20 degrees F.
Anyway, let us know how you go when you are next at the drags.
