Want to trade my Eisenmann Race for an Eisenmann Sport..
Hey all. Recently I installed an Eisenamnn race exhaust on my car. It sounded great but I desired a little more noise so I cut my resonator out. I loved the sound for a while but now it's starting to wear on me. I want something inbetween what I have now which is un-godly loud and the original Eisenmann Race sound. I figure if I leave my resonator cut out and install an Eisenmann Sport I'll achieve that.
The Race and Sport are the same price from what I've seen so I'm wondering if anybody wants a trade straight up. I'll even remove and install your exhaust myself for free if you want. Any takers??

Yeah, the Eisenmann did put a dent in my checking account, that's for sure.
I was thinking about installing the original AMG muffler without the resonator but I just love the look of the Eisenmann tips and that raspy sound. It's just a little much for every day driving.

Thought about doing that too. But that means I gotta take it to a muffler shop and have them weld it back in and I'm not sure it I want that. I think I'll install the stock AMG today and see how it sounds without the resonator.

Used to drive E55
I had it like that for a little while but it just was not loud enough IMHO.

yes I have same setup as you do, x pipe with resonator delete, AMG muffler. RENNtech stage 1 looks nice but no dyno yet... would like to drive few more miles before I take it in... will let you know, how is your beast running ?

It runs like a beast. I might take it to the track this weekend to see what it can do. I wonder if I can brake into the 12s. Probably depends on my driving and traction.

hm not sure ... I think average 1/4 miles times is arround 13.5, good luck, I should take my car to the track too since it's so much confusion with dynos ... probably would be the best way to see how fast it is ....

I have a couple crappy burnout vids on youtube. I need to get some better video...a driveby would be best.
These are with the Eisenmann Race and no resonator:
Crappy burnout 1
Crappy burnout 2
