Strut Or Shock

Can someone please confirm that the W210 E55 AMG use shock on all four corner and not struts like most car. Usually most car have strut in front. I just order Bilstein for my car and it came in all four shocks! I want to make sure before taking them to get it install.

thank all,

peter,
move away from the keyboard. walk outside. it would be simple enough to
confirm. just **** the wheels outwards and take a peek inside. if you' see
the shocks and springs, you have separates....and good to go

thank all,
Your car has a double-wishbone suspension. That's a good thing. A MacPherson strut suspension is cheaper to build because it uses a single A-arm. It also frees room for FWD engine-transaxle unit. But it's a serious compromise for handling and ride, as steering geometry cannot be as well controlled.

Thank guy!!

I don't know much about car, especially Mercedes. Since my warranty run out I am force to seek else where for service.

When I first bought the car It take me half an hour to fine the hood opener it not where it support to be like BMW, or Japanese car.
