Folding mirrors ??
Anyone attempted modifying the W210 E55 to have power folding mirrors?
I recall having seen a modification to a W203 or maybe W202. Just wondering.

I guess we got the short end here in the US? any idea about part numbers , my dealer will not help with parts only available for the Euro market.

You can't modify your own mirrors to power fold; they are missing the required mechanism. Steve (MBenzNL) sells OEM power folding mirrors for our cars complete and he can also install them for you on his usual trips to the states.

you can run the harness, install folding frames, and a new wood panel with switch to make them fold. I do have a set of power folding mirrors for a w210 upto 1999 if anyone is interested.
