Radio occasionally goes blank.
Hello Everyone,
I have been having a problem lately where the radio display will intermittently go blank. If I turn the key off and on again, or turn the power off and on again on the radio, it is fine. It works without the dsiplay. Has anyone had this problem before?
Thanks,
Steve

Ive heard of problems with the instrument cluster digital display fading
which then needs replaced.
so it is possible that the radio will need replaced

It happened 2 times to me
for some unexplained reason the radio went blank and then required the code entry to regain functionality two times within a month span...only happened those 2x and never recurred in the 5 years I've had the beast...not sure why but the radio keeps sounding better an better. Even so, a lot of the time I'll just cruise and listen for any new rattle, or unexpected engine note...but I digress...can't say I've seen the exact thing you've discribed...just those 2 glitches.
