'04 Silverado Z71 - sold all my Benzes and need another!
Part number please...
Hey guys, does anyone know the part number on the double din black birdseye maple wood trim piece for the Command? I am installing my Command unit in my car and I called a couple of dealers who claim they don't have it and without knowing the VIN of a Command installed vehicle, wouldn't give me the part number. Thanks!

edit: also, I think you have to identify what type of options your have, ie heat seats etc because the cutout would be different...

I heard back from Steve and he's looking for one for me. He's going to be in LA sometime at the end of the month so he might just hook everything up for me.

I don't have a double din black birdseye. On the pulley do you notice any better gas mileage from it. Omey was getting from 27-39 mpg. What does your car get mpg now with the pulley?

I haven't really checked because I'm too busy enjoying the extra power. I'm freakin busy and leaving for business again on Sunday but I'm trying to get in a Dyno appt on Saturday if possible. If not, I will do it when I get back. I will check my mpg when I get home as I don't drive my baby everyday...

Jimmy, I also have been looking for the same burl piece for a while, they are tough to find as you know. BUT, I have seen a picture on MBZnl site where the AC control unit has been moved to the bottom, and what looks like the two holes for the AC an OEM Radio have been combined to form a double din, have you seen that or has anyone heard of what is exactly invloved? It doesnt look too hard, and to be honest that workd better since it brings up the NAV screen higher in the dash...just wondering if anyone has any thoughts?
