Who Puked in this E55?
I know some will love this interior. This has to be the worst color combo I have ever seen and it cost extra to get it.

My dealer had one just like this last year when I was ordering my E55. I have to say that the interior is much better in person. The green is a lot darker and the photo does not do it justice. The natural maple wood is absolutely gorgeous when you see it in person.
But I would prefer designo espresso over designo silver, the silver was too beige for my liking. I guess green isn't that popular either, hence the change to an all charcoal interior for the 2002 designo silver edition. Another rare combo was the black and blue interior option on the '99 E55. Anybody have one?

I'm sure a lot of dentists and toothpaste company execs would salivate over this car...you know, with the rare "Minty Clean" Designo Package, whitens teeth as you drive.

Here's an example....
of one reason why the prices of these things are all over the place. This car is virtually unsellable. And so are many of the goofy two tone interior schemes. People just run in the other direction.

I think the light wood is really tastefull. Much more rich looking than the black maple. It is totally amazing that someone ordered an E55 with the designo option. Wow, that's a lot of bucks for an E class!

if the auction was still going id bid on it, is this designo silver? i absolutley LOVE the designo silver on the S class, why didnt they go with the same interior color for the E Class?
