The dreadful Check engine light! argh ! I’m thinking MAF on this one… or oxygen sensor. It comes on for a day and then off. What gives? I ordered the OBD II but won’t arrive for 5-7 Day. This morning the dreadful check engine light came on again and at lunch time it went off. Anyone experience with this in the pass and it wouldn’t be anything major would it? When the light is I don’t notice any loss in power .. (by the way this car can move !!!!) sorry …… although I have noticed at few times at a red light that the car would idle rough and another time It appeared that the lights were going to go out on the dash………so I’m banking that it’s the MAF!

I would venture a guess. It may be one of the following: Crank Position sensor, Mass Air Filter sensor; O2 sensor. In that order. Good luck. May the OBDII be with you.

 

hahaha ...... now that the check engine light is off will the codes still read... thinking of taking to autozone for a quick code read don't think I can't wait for the force.....
