Cabin Filter(s)??

I'm thinking I need to replace my cabin air filters. Getting a slight mildew smell out of the vents when AC first comes on. Is this an easy DIY? Can someone steer me to a "how to" link? Any and all info on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Good to know it's very easy DIY. Do I get to them from the passenger side floorboard? If not where? I have no idea where they are. Also, where would the vent intakes be? Up under the dash somewhere?

Thanks

ruBenz, Thanks a lot. great link. I'm thinking because I have a slight mildew smell at AC start-up, that replacing the carbon filters (stink eaters) would be a good idea. If I understood everything correctly that I just reviewed in your link, it looks like there are two non-carbon filters behind the glove box, and two carbon filters under the glove box for a total of 4 filters. Does this sound correct? Actually it's pretty impressive that the car has 4 filters for the cabin!

Again, thanks for the link. It has a great "how to" DIY. Very clear.

Can Someone Please Answer this Question?

Does the W210 in fact have four total cabin filters? two charcoal and two non-charcoal? Before I order new filters I would like to know without having to take apart the glove box and the panel below it to confirm. Thanks in advance.

That's what I thought. Thanks a lot. BTW, Autohaus shows PN 210-830-0218 for the Charcoal filters. They show the same number you gave for the other pair.
