All those with a merc in Dubai and W211 headers for W210 AMG's

Hi Guys,

just wanted to say to all those with a mercedes in Dubai i the United Arab Emirates. I have found a mercedes scrapyard superstore in Sharjah that is fantastic. All bodyparts (Not much amg stuff), interiors, electrics, subframes, exhausts, glass, navigation centres, everything. The guy was trying to push a S600 V12 engine on me when i went in. Reasonable prices and all the parts have been taken off the cars, cleaned, tested and wrapped in plastic for storage. Please PM and I'll send you the details.

Also, I've been hearing that the W211 headers can be used on the W210's. Ive got the 99 E55 AMG M113 engine. Which W211 models work with the E55, are these headers a straight swap and also what kind of performance gains if any do these headers give.

some of the headers are same as w210 but they are literally THE SAME, so that would be completely pointless.

Great tip on the sharjah mb yard, I may have to check it out.

Hi Rikki,

I took a trip into Sharjah last week and had a nightmare!! Didn't really find anywhere decent and one place tried to charge me 700dhs for a rear sun screen motor!!

Where is the place your talking about? I might be heading back to Sharjah soon cause I did find a set of original 18inch amg's for our car, which I think I want.

What about this can't sell a car older than 10 year rule? what you guys thinking about that?
