Got the E55 today

I went fiddling with the local mercedes mechanics E55 so far as to removing his entire catback system, needless to say being a chevy guy at heart he thought the sound was incredible on the way home. I welded a T4 divided flange to where his muffler used to be and borrowed a turbo off a friends rear turbo GTO for a day to make sure everything fit(cost me a 30 pack to borrow it
) in the mercedes correctly. I welded another T4 flange to the muffler so he could continue to use the car peacefully and turbo it when he's collected the parts. He's got a masterpower T70 turbo and a scavenge pump but thats all he's got at the moment. Once its all collected, I will install it over the course of a weekend. In nutshell I can convert the catback section of the exhaust to use a rear mount turbo but have the ability to use the rear muffler until one is ready to undergo the task of turbocharging their car.

Peter, you're a good guy. You might wanna just keep it till death does you part. I can't see it going for over $20k, not with the given market. Sure you have a lot of upgrades into it, and granted it is far far from stock and in perfect condition, but I just don't see it happening on a W210. It would take a special someone that knows exactly what it is they are paying for and want a W210 over a W211.
Not saying you shouldn't ask for more than 20k, because you should want more, but I don't see someone wanting to pay the 25k for it when for just a few bucks more you can get a well treated W211 for 30k.

If the price is right I will let her. I put over $35K (with receipts) in performance and accessories in her not including the price of the car and I know I'll never get it back but my asking price is not unreasponable consider "CTE55AMG" paid about $25K for his. My asking price is a killer dealer to those who appricated it but to those who think it just another 02 E55 than these add on is not worth anything to them than I just keep my car til death do us part..

Oh believe me, I know what something like this is worth. I kick myself everyday for getting rid of mine, even though I had to at the time.
If I had the money right now I'd definately take it off your hands. But for the price range you want for it, I can't do anything until 6 months to a year from now.
I was looking for an E55 for around $15K, and of course this would be stock. This is something I could do like 3 months from now. So $25K+ will have to wait or me.
When I can afford it, and you still have it I'll let you know.

I just picked up my E55 in October. I got an unbelievable deal. It's a 2001, It had 80k on it. Black/black, navigation, heated/ventilated seats, bluetooth ready, and immaculate. I paid 15,000
