Took it back under warranty, i'll be picking it up tomorrow. Will I feel a HUGE difference after the dealer replaces them? Anything I should look for and/or notice?

You should feel it idling smoother.

 

Just like Nocturnal says, your idle will feel smoother. Also, idle under load will feel smoother as well.

I noticed though that it seems like it took a little bit for it to feel significantly smoother. Probably because I was looking for it so much after I had them replaced that I noticed it more.

 

WOW! It's crazy how much smoother it is now. Feels like a totally different car! My steering wheel doesn't vibrate anymore at idle. I'm glad I took it back to them in time. God knows how much it would've cost me out of pocket. Thanks for the input.

Now my next question. I have about 79,500 on my baby at the moment. Do you guys recommend a Transmission flush?

Absolutly YES! your trans filter need to be replaced at 60000km, maybe you not feel any difference before change the oil + filter, but your trans will tanks for it to you!

is this the only difference in replacing the mounts, smoother idle? my mechanic says my motor and tranny mounts need to be replaced but honestly, my idle is not that bad at all.

im wondering how long i can go before i absolutely have to replace them for reasons other then smooth idle.

 

You can wait until the engine twisted up on hard acceration and rip anything attached to the engine, like fan, wiring, drive train maybe cause an accident than you can replace the mounts while you get your fix.
