We have set the date to 18/4 for starting to install the S/C It will take aprox 10 days, because we are going to make a custom "heat exchanger" that are bigger then the small one that comes with the Kleemann kit. And if the car is responding well with everything, we might go with a smaller S/C pulley to then the 2,8" BUT, to be honest i think me car will respond quite well with the 2,8" pulley and new "heat exchanger"
I'll keep you posted

I'm leaving the car this weekend so that they can start with the installation
Also going to flush the transmisson and change the oil in it.
We'll see how it ends up with the custom heat exchanger. Might go with the Kleemann one, i'm going to my sisters wedding in Mexico/USA in October and might need to save a few $$$ We'll see

A little update
They are working on the S/C installation right now and things are going well I was susposed to have a company build a bigger custom made heat exchanger, but the price was WAY to high to accept for me
But we are doing another thing They are going to install 2 Kleemann heat exchangers instead of only one And i think it will be a great mod that can stand up really well to a custom made one. Cause there where not much space in the front on our W210 E55's. So the custom made one wasn't going to be THAT big after all!
Next thing is to see if we can go with a smaller S/C pulley. But according to the installer the one that was in the kit was smaller then he thought it would be. So we'll see how it responds with the S/C and then work after that
a loooooooooooong week a head Car is ready in the end of the comming week!

Phenolic Spacers
From what i understand these phenolic spacers help reduce intake temperatures. It's actually a good benefit since heat is the number one enemy in our cars.
As far as driving it drive it like you stole it! And then "punch it" a few more times while you're at it.

Nice to hear
Jeff or JamE55, does the exhaust note change whene the S/C is on place compared to in when it's N/A? More fuel and more power ought to make it sound more agressive?? Tell me?

Hey little problem. Got a call from the installer today and he had talked to the cheif technician at Kleemann,Claus A and said that since i already have a special ECU for my N/A set-up he told me that my engine could be in real danger after mounting the S/C since the timing might been changed
Does this make sense or will i be safe with my ECU tune and the new S/C?

Ok an update. The ECU is on it's way to Kleemann/Denmark for a Kleemann S/C ECU tune Amazing expensive but it might be better then to blow the engine with my N/A ECU tune thats in the car now

The n/a 55's need a tune regardless for an aftermarket s/c system. The exhaust note will not change noticeably. The supercharger whine will be the only noticeably noise change.
I wouldn't recommend trying a smaller pulley. I personally know of a couple folks who blew up an engine because of it.....
I used to have a e430 with a s/c pushing 8lbs of boost, it was a rocket for a 430. It put out 340hp 350tq to wheels.

Yes true, i'm going to run the pulley that came with the kit. With my custom double heat exchanger and W211 airboxes i think the car will produce quite much power even with the Kleemann pulley
Nice numbers on that 430
