Ordered Vogtland Springs today

Seems to be a good sale going on, as I got them for $210. Since they claim to drop 1.6 inches, I will stick with the stock spring pads. Not sure if anyone else is running a similar set-up?

Nice! I was looking at those, very good price. I might be going with H&R 1.25'' drop. Let me know how it goes bro. I might switch.

P.S. We missed a sweet meet on Sunday in Burlington.

We need to meet up soon. Show our beasts off!

If you could post a link as to where to get these springs that would be helpful too!

Nice choice on the Vogtlands. You won't regret your decision.

It's nice to see someone branching out and trying something new. I've had Vogtland springs on two of my cars so far and IMO they are far greater than when I tried Eibach and H&R's.

Post some pictures when you get the chance.

Well,

Looks like Vogtland actually does not have a spring for the E55. They told me they had to call Vogtland Germany to ask about the W210 E55 application...this is what I got back today:

"Sorry for the delay, that application is only for motors up to 162KW equivalent to 217HP. H&R has an application for your vehicle. We will refund your Pay Pal
Regards,
VogtlandSuspension.com"

Looks like I am going with Eibach's now..

Sons Of Betches!!! That's they should know before you pay for the dam products, instead of getting your hopes up and wasting your time. Good luck on the Eibach's. What drop will you be looking at with the Eibach's?

If you look at the coilovers set @ $668, it does not have that accompanying stipulation. All it says is W210 for 6 and 8 cyl. I'm going to send them a message, I like the 1.6" drop Vogtland is claiming.

I wanted the 1.6 drop too, then I ordered online and they called me. They said "we see you ordered these for an E55, but Vogtland does not make springs for an E55". They simply said they were going to return my money! I was bummed, but love my H&R/Koni set-up now

CTE55AMG: Yes I've seen your pics. Your car is looking good. Right now I'm thinking of H&R Sport/Bilstein Sport combo simply because of they're the easiest to find and buy (cost effective). I am thinking of using #1 pads all around. I do prefer eibach pro-kit/Koni FSD combo but they're harder to find (as well as being more expensive). I had pro-kits on my E90 and I liked the ride/handling very much.

Eibachs w/ #1s is probably the best route to go for a daily driver. Its very similar to Euro spring setup.
