Rockville/Bethesda but I go out to skyline drive/front royal often to drive around. I went to school there for a year at RMA too.
Suicidal4life - Thanks for the links, I've glanced at both and the 500e looks ridiculous I don't think I could afford or even be able to do all of that.

I don't think you will save 100lb. If you remove the carpet completely and all the sound deadening in the floor and in the trunk you MIGHT save 25-30 lb the most. I seen the material in the trunk and and the backseat area, they are not that heavy. I had to dynamat my trunk area and qt panels and there only a fews lb of those installation sound deadenning material in there.
The heaviest part of the interior and truck is the spare tire, battery and front seats.

So I got my car back last night and drove around for a few hours, although it was in the rain, the combination of a good a alignment and new toyo t1r's made driving in the rain fun. I think I'm going to lower the car another half inch, it's sitting abouth an inch below stock and then I'll have to get a camber kit for the front. I'm not throwing out the idea of putting my car on a diet but after getting my car back I'm not so sure if I want/can get rid of the luxurious. Hopefully today will be dry out.

Haha, I wash this car and try to keep it clean! you just always see me when it's not... and for some reason whenever I wash my car the next day it ALWAYS rains, even if it's suppose to be the most beautiful day of the the year it will rain if I wash my car the day before...

Your thoughts on the Dynamat? A noticeable change? Which type did you go with? Would you also recommend under and behind the back seat? Mine's an '02 E55 also.
Thanks !
