Here are the exact symptoms of a bad TPS. Do this and you can easily test:

Don't go more than 1/2 throttle. Car drives fine all day long. Cruise control works.

Go WOT (make sure you hit the kick down switch, meaning press hard).

Car now feels like a BMW Isetta with a throttle cable made of elastic.

Floor it and the tach will go up slowly but the car won't accelerate. Count to 3. Now the car will start accelerating, but very slowly. Like an Isetta. With a time delay.

Try the cruise control, and it won't work.

Restart the car, and it works fine. Until you floor it.

The keys here are the symptoms start when you go heavy on the throttle, delay between hitting gas and car accelerating, slow acceleration, cruise control won't work, and car is better after you reset.

Abalone, sounds like you need a new TPS. They, like most of the Bosch components on the car, start to go about now. May be another issue, too, but I'd start there.

saintz --> Thanks! I like your knowledge in all of your post I will buy a new TPS and try that route first.

A strange thing happend just a few minutes ago when i took the car to go shopping. Car acted fine on the way to the shop, but when i came out and started the car it acted really weird Idle was like 2000 rpm, and if you pushed the pedal down a little bit, the engine started to rev slowly upp to redline and the only way to stop it was to turn the car off

Drove to another shop (the car could be driven in this mode but acted REALLY bad on the throttle pedal) and when i stared it up after i been in there, the car acted as normal again

I know there's a Bosch, Hella, and Vemo version. I think they're all the same. I'd get whatever you can get your hands on the easiest.
