No, it was E55 to Sentra and in less then 10 years hope to have a CL65....
On a different note. The dealer with the E55 is being a complete A$$. I'm done with them. They don't want to help me out at all. I'm busting my A$$ and they keep coming with excuses why they can't do it.
****I did however find a nice C32.**** What do you guys have to say about them. Don't seem to bad.

I'm trying
Well, now the dealer with the E55 is changing his tune and saying that they will work with me...So I will see what happens and keep everyone posted...but I did find a nice C32 as a back up

Yeah, don't mind me im just busting your chops, there is a ton of good deals in the 15-20K range, look for 01-02 CL55's they are also in that range, along with CL600s, I would personally go for 03+ because of the slight facelift and engine upgrades but they are about 5-10K more, 03+ CL500s though are worth a try as well.

Good luck with the purchase.

I have to be honest, Im missing my E55 as well. It really is one of the best AMGs they made, may not be the fastest but IMO its the best designed.
Having driven a few CLK55s (w208), it is definitely quicker but there are a lot of little things that are missing from the E55, like electronic telescopic/tilt steering wheel, rack 'n pinion steering, perforated leather (and more comfy seats), its much better at putting the power to the ground where as the CLKs have a lot of trouble doing so. It makes sense why it cost more new b/c it really was a superior car.
I wouldn't mind getting back into one too, good luck with your purchase!

I just got back from being out of town for the weekend. Also I just found out that we sold the Mercedes to a guy from Chicago on Saturday. He sent us the money for the vehicle and is flying here this week to pick it up. I feel really bad that it happened this way. Thanks again for all the time and effort you put in.

Car hunting always excites me the most... then enjoying the car for the next 2 months... and then it goes down hill from there
Luckily... similar thing did and does not (and hopefully, will not ) happen to my partner for life.
Good luck!

Been posting on W211 section... but yeah, haven't been that active for a while... sucky economy like this plus a baby make me super busy (the toll for working for a bank) and don't give me time for cars... heck, I haven't even driven my E55 for a while Wagon all the way... LOL.
LET is coming to NorCal on 5/16... I'll be there to get another tune (if they could beat my current tune ). It'll be in Fremont... stop by (or get the tune also) if you can. I'll be #4 - so my turn is around noon or early afternoon.

OP: Steal ob1kenobi's car... he has the best color combo... and super loaded too (including the very rare parktronic).

Well, it pretty much official right now. I'm not looking for another car at this time:-(
Instead I will be fixing up the Bimmer for the summer. I will try again sometime after that. I plan on coming back even stronger and harder to find something nicer. Thanks for everyones help with things. I'm not going anywhere though
