Finally, with much searching I've found this and am currently working on the details. It's been on autotrader for a little while (I think).

I've been looking for a CL, but nothing was working out. Then I found this E55, and everything is falling into place. It's not a done deal yet, so of course things could change. Like I'm sure many of you have been following me wondering what the Hell is this guys problem....He changes his mind like the wind.

Like many of you know, I used to own a very nice 2000 E55. Getting rid of it was the worst mistake carwise..which really affected my life the last 1 1/2. Well, this has many less miles and the interior I love and it's newer...what's not to love.

Unfortunately is over 20hrs away in Minnesota.

Please look at the link and tell me your thoughts and concerns...Please, keep in mind I owned my 00 E55 for a little over 2 years..

Sorry, I don't understand your post. I don't know your background, but you say purchasing an E55 was a mistake and caused you 1.5 years of greef and are thinking of getting another one? Hopefully, your life has changed for the better and an E55 will bring smiles instead of frowns. Good Luck with your search.

I'm trying, but if it's not one thing, it's another. Seems I'm having a hard time finding a loan for more then 48 months on this '02. It wouldn't be a problem for the price of the car, but I have neg equity that's killing me...I'm not giving up yet

Did you try chase? My own bank denied my 1st loan, but chase accepted it with a decent apr too.

The dealer had a hard time finding me a loan also. They found a bank in Vermont that would do it! hahaha

Well at least VT is close by. I'm over 1300 miles away from the one in MN.

Well, I finally got a credit union to give me a loan, but the rate is ridiculously high. But I'll try to refinance once I've had it for a bit.

But now I'm looking at another car, an 2003 CL500. So, I'm waiting on who can give me the best deal. It's kind of exciting

That CL is nice too. But i'd stick with AMG! Just saying AMG feels good! haha

CL is serious, looking at getting a 03+ CL55 or 600 myself, deadly looking machine, 500 is alright too drove one before its slick.

Well, I know what the E has...not familiar though with the CL. I know they look fantastic. CL65 is my goal in the near future...
