Another Part number please

Anyone know the part number or where to get a cheap one. I'm looking for the bumper mesh grill on the passenger side of my 2001 E55. I guess It got loose and popped out because its not there anymore. I don't know. New England roads I guess. Thanks for the help

Go to parts.com
Select 2001, Mercedes, E class
Click Front Bumper, Bumper and Components, Grille, Outer.

You need the "w/AMG" part, either left or right. Ouch on the price.

This won't give you the part number, but at least it's somewhere to get it. Unfortunately, I think you need to remove the bumper to install, which isn't too bad, but is a decent bit of work for this little repair.

No you don't, they pop right in and out from the front, I just repainted mine and it took 1 minute to remove all of them and 1 minute to put them back they are held by simple plastic clips

On mine, the plastic clips are push pins that drive into the bumper and there are metal screws that screw into the push pins to lock them in place. I looked, and it would be almost impossible to screw them in with the bumper mounted, unless you could remove the splash shield, reach up, and meticulously screw the screws in.

Sounds like we have different versions, so I would suggest the OP check how his works.

P.S. - MR888, if you have a '99, that might be the difference.
