Looking to buy some shocks for 00 e55 with 106k mi
so far i have found KYB kg4727 reasonably priced and have pretty good reviews on them for other cars.

Heres some good reading. Good comparisons, but he's speaking of 2000-2002 E55's. Not sure what year your car is.

https://mbworld.org/forums/w210-amg/...bilsteins.html

I had trouble with this also. A friend of mine (Nspura) has the H&R sports + Bilstein sports setup on his E55.

Call tirerack to double check. You have to get the E320 shocks, same chassis, but these are the part numbers he gave me from his ACTUAL invoice.

F4-B36-2156-H0 - Fronts

F4-B36-2157-H0 - Rears

Tire rack- Shocks

I'm going to order these on Thursday. With H&R Sports Springs.

Hope this helps!

I wouldn't trust Ebay, unless I SEE those part numbers.

Hold on...What's a e-series? Is it like a 5-class?

Bilstein HDs are great shocks for comfort. sports are a bit more firm typically speaking, however supposedly on the 208s & 210s the valving is all identical they are just have a 1" shorter body for lowered springs setup and shorter bump stops.

Either is a great choice. The HDs are the correct replacement shock, the sports are if you want to run aftermarket springs & etc. .
