WHAT ARE THE OIL SPECS FOR SUMMER DRIVING?
MOBIL ONE
ROYAL PURPLE
NEW CASTROL EDGE?????
JUST WONDERING IF THE NEW SYNTHETICS ARE BETTER THAN THE MOBIL ONE-RECOMMENDATION?

02 CLK 55 AMG,09 C63 loaded with P30
The new Castrol Edge looks good but is it really worth the extra $ over the Castrol Syntec which i use. I don't think you could extend the change interval.

Mr. Duck, modern oils are all-seaon/all-climate. Just get the correct 229.xx product spec'd for your car.

Use Royal Purple 0w40 or what ever oil brand you like.
