The Dension Gateway 500 notes indicate that it does not work with Becker head units.
How can I tell if my 2002 E55 has a Becker head unit, and then if it does I guess the Gateway 500 option is *out*???

I would try this first. I notice the difference big time since everytime I run my ipod through the AUX in COMMAND I have to readjust the bass and treble. For some reason it doesn't save for the AUX, only for the radio and cd.

I would love to change my head unit, but it seems like it would ruin the inferior if i put one of those head units that emit blue light... just wont match. I honestly would love to change the center wood trim that is used for the navigation command units and install a nice head unit, with navigation and all.
