So tech Tim from KYB told me they have not studied the E55 but this application does fit the 99-02 E430 with sport suspension.
Can we assume it'll be ok for ours?

Although there are others far more knowledgeable, I would seriously doubt this offering. Sort of like, "One size fits all"? The weight on the front has to be quite different (V6 vs V8 vs 4Matic). Direct replacement for self-leveling on the rears?
I would do some serious homework as there are even issues with getting the correct direct replacement Bilsteins for our E55's.
You might check with the folks at Evosport (no affiliation).
