Navigation discs
I haven't messed with my Navigation much yet for two reasons. One, I don't live in that large of a town so Nav isn't needed and two, the maps really suck. So I looked at my discs today and noticed they are dated 01/05. Does anyone out there have some new discs they wouldn't mind burning for me to use? I promise I'd pass them on like a good forum member if someone could provide them.
Also, I can paypal peope money for the discs and shipping too so I'm not asking for a completely free handout or anything.

The 05 discs are probably a lot newer than what some people have (like me). Do you have a full set? I have seen 08 CD sets for sale, but the prices are more than a standalone Garmin.

Yeah, I have the full set. Man, I figured mine was oooold since it's from 05. It basically makes the map semi-worthless.

I tried to burn my disc as a backup, so I don't scratch my only disc, and I was unable to burn it properly. They appear to have some sort of copy protection. Can you get yours to backup?

No clue. I do have one disc though from the previous owner that is burned and it works just fine. I thought it was an update for the Midwest but the map is even worse than my regular disc.

updates
I was going to buy a set (115350), but after checking the updates it did not seem substantial. It might not be a big improvement over your '05s. it did not seem a big change over my 04's
