To any potential buyers: I've posted this in another thread, but this car is absolutely flawless. I've seen it in person and Peter's pictures don't do this car justice. It is accurately represented and is an absolute steal for anyone wanting the most car for their $.

Still have the car till next weekend.

Went to pick up the new X5 but the detail guy left a 10" scrape with deep crease on the pessenger door while trying to back it out the bay. Dealer want to bondo it and paint over it. Told them they have till next weekend to find me a new X5 with the options I wanted or I go somewhere else.

So it still for sale if anyone interested.

 

Peter , did you ever settle the matter with KLeemann , did the installer do right by you and get the car running at its best ? and if so what was the final gain in HP ? I know you went with their newer Eaton SC ( not the sought after Twin Screw ) .. just curious as to the final results.

 

OR you can take the car with the scrape ONLY if they give it to you for half price! Dealers like this should be thought a lesson to never take advantage of customers.

 

I have to taken it to another Local Kleemann dealer and they did fix the problem. Now it running smooth and strong. It has a quicker response in power and TQ than my E63 But HP and TQ are vary depend on dyno meter. All the reading was about 20hp part from each dyno. The best HP I got was about 500bhp, i think this is limited to the SC.

It feel so lighter than the E63, you gun the gas and it gone. The E63 have a heavy gas pedal that you have to press down harder and a bigger delay in trottle response than the E55K. I driven both car daily only advantage the E63 have over the E55K is that it have more technology, lots gadget and gizmos. The E55K can keep up with my E63 anyday. I'll let you drive both my Es for comparison, its a total different car.

 

Yeah I wish, I told them to discount 10K if they fix it, they said no.

why not just throw it in storage for a few years, once it's gone it's gone, after all $ in it, i think it's a waste you're selling it. Ask James if he'd ever sell his

 

I believe she turned it back to Peter when she heard he got an NSX and the niece is driving the NSX now.
