60mph Vibration
i've also had numerous sets of tires and wheels on the car and the vibration is the same
My 2001 E320 sedan/base which I just bought, have the humming noise coming from the back of the car, could it be the wheel bearings? Are there any bearings involved on both side of the differential where the axles go? If there are how would you differentiate whether it is the inner(differential side) or outer (wheel side) bearings are making the noise? I also feel a slight vibration but nothing significant. Also the humming noise gets worse at increased speeds.

Did you ever get the problem fixed? I have an 04 CLK55amg with similar vibration. All is good until I hit 60-65mph and stays the same if I shift to neutral while at same mph. I'm going to check alignment first but since I recently purchased the car I don't have good history to trace when it first started. My left rear tire is worn but I can't imagine this will respond that way.
Since then I have replaced engine and transmission mounts. The car is quieter at idle and I feel less vibration when driving.
Replaced front and rear flex disks. I had some vibration as approximately 60mph that was reduced, but not eliminated. Looking to replace center driveshaft bearing and support. Also inspect transmission output bearing, bushing(?) and seal.
Lastly I have a set of rear suspension control arms from FCP in the garage to install. Still need to purchase triple square (12 point torx-like bit) to remove and replace. These all have rubber coupling points that most likely are deteriorating after time and miles on vehicle.

If so what were the symptoms that you had with the car?

shuder from 18-22 after doing mostly all the same work when going from a slow start
My 2000 E430 is garage kept, and has about 129k miles on it.
