19 inch monoblocks?
I got a line on some 19 oem amg Monoblocks .. gonna check them out Monday but if they same style as my stock ones i'm guessing they should swap over with minimal work.. Also think i seen a thread about someone who installed them on this forum .. ok now
1. What would be a good price with rubber let's say good condition..?
2. How do i check the offset , will it be stamped on the wheel or will the model number they came off determine that ?

I wouldn't recommend 19'' Monoblocks. The current 18'' Monoblocks are extremely heavy, I can only imagine how heavy these will be. Lots of strain in the front end, not sure how your roads are but here in boston 19'' will destroy my car (potholes everywhere). They look great but if you want looks it's perfect.
1. Used? eh... can't cheap out on rubber $$$ pony up
2. Stamped up on the inside, I can't remember someone had stated that they thought AMG monoblock didn't make 19'' - You could be looking at Reps, Saintz will chime in.

The 19s might be off the W140. If that's the case the differences in offsets would not give you the resulting look you maybe after (iirc, the W140 is a higher number). Be sure to check the offsets.

They did come in 19s, like on the W140 S500 Grand, and I'm pretty sure they had been available on the W140 accessories brochures some years before. But they're extremely rare and the offsets are not optimal for our E55s.

They are EXTREMELY RARE and only came on W140s ... but honestly are the most amazing looking monoblocks ever. yes they will be extremely heavy (30+ lbs each easy). However, with 5-10mm spacers all around they should be doable. Even if you weren't putting them on, I'd still get them for collector value alone, you can probably sell them for easy profit worst case scenario.... lucky guy

I wouldn't go any higher than the stock 18. Performance and comfort will definitely be worse. If you want looks, go with a tire with a rounded tread block on the stock 18's. You'll get a similar look. Falcon and Sumitomo have pretty rounded tread blocks.

you guys are forgetting you can't put oem 19's monoblocks straight up on our cars. you'll need the rad bolts, as well as machining of the hub to get the right offsets. Vic55 had them on his e55 a loooong time ago, they looked awesome, i'll try to find some pix, i think i still have a pic or two somewhere

$500.... He'd probably be less offended if you urinated on him haha . $500 for OEM 19-AMG monoblocks is absurdly low... but maybe he doesn't know what he has and may just let them go for whatever, I guess its worth a shot.

HAHAHAAAA! Give it a shot. If he gets upset, go with "Juuuuuust kidding!"
P.S. I'm sure he knows what he has, if they are OEM.

Bahaha
Would be a nice little re-sell at that price..... even if you had to get them refinished.

Called the dude couple times , Never answered or returned my call so well see for tomorrow.
Here in Detroit .. It's a mixed bag some know what they are holding others don't . I probably can sell my tsw 18's replicas for over a grand with tires but might have a better shot of picking up some oem AMG's for 500.. guess its all in the luck of it . But truly unless your on a forum like this or other sort's ppl really dont know how rare or how somthing is really worth .

Went to check out the wheels .. There wernt OEM .. didnt say made in germany or anything on the insides .. They had more wholes then my stock rims but same pattern somwhat .. the lips had mucho kurb rash .. Tires were some Talon brand 19's 235 seemed stretched out like if the rim was too wide for them .. Probably would of looked nice if the rims wernt so rashed. could of got the set for about 500 but felt like wasnt worth that much even if the tires looks almost new .. Didnt really need to spend any unneeded funds at the moment ..

I got a set of 19" mono's original OEM AMG for $500. 3 are mint, 1 looks like it my be a little bent, but I'll have to get that fixed eventually. I even got the spacers and longer lug bolts with it.
I haven't decided if I'll ever put them on my car b/c the roads in DC/Arlington are horrible and I really don't want to have to worry about potholes and blow outs much more than I already do. But I'll probably get them all refinished and fixed and keep them in storage since they are such a rare commodity.
