Found some
Thanks for reading everyone. I found a local set so no worries. Look forward to getting the car on the road. I love the original monoblocks so now I will just gets some times, then post pics. I have been on this forum for a while but never posted. I had a 2005 E55 AMG, but someone has taken over the lease. Cutting down costs so I moved to the 2002 E55. I have always loved the style and the car is cherry Only 57,000 kilometers (30,000 miles?). Have a great weekend!
Cheers!

Welcome to the forums! The W210 is a great machine, but not without its idiosyncrasies... I'm sure you'll find ownership to be a love/hate experience. Mine has been divided between roughly 70% love, maybe 30% hate... ie: 70% of the time I'm pledging to run the car into the ground, the other 30% I'm looking on Craigslist or other to see if I can unload the car for a reasonable price...
Today is definitely a "hate" day. Well, not quite yet, but we'll see if it starts up tomorrow.
Word of caution: don't use the cupholder up front. You spill more than 3 drops (I spilled 4 drops), the shift selector computer thingamabob module dies. Fortunately I had a hairdryer and an extension cord available and it seemed to be working afterwards, but I still have a check engine light on... alas.
Welcome aboard!

Thanks for the warm welcome!
Interplexor. Thanks for the heads up. I had a C36 before and I am sure it could have been the same fate with that car (spilled a few times) but it did OK. Pretty decent roads here in Vancouver. I look forward to meeting everyone.
MBFLO. Ye sit is odd (well sewn flamesuit made to deal with this) but I can honestly say I have had both cars. No point in comparing the two really. Just to note a couple things for me are the ride and steering "feel" much better on the W210. The W211 had awesome power (love the torque), great looks outside and in (I like the W210 the same) and an all around great car. I had zero problems with it. My W210 only has 57,000 km's and the leased E55 had 116,000. The lease on my W211 was $1,383 / month. Buyout was $32,000. remember that I started out with this car when these cars were going for a bit more. My payment also includes lease care and a warranty. My payment on my W210 is now only $500. The company is saving a few bucks here. My goal is to drive the W210 for 2-3 years, then trade up to a 2006 E55 Estate.
I will post pics when I get the car shined up. It is black on black and I just had the OEM mono blocks refinished. The car looks amazing. For what it is (an 8 year old car), it is very tight and the design, beautiful. I think my first mod will be Sprintbooster. The drive by wire could use some help I think.
Cheers!
