Big power loss at 5k RPM

Hey guys. My car has been acting weird lately. Seems it lost some power in all RPM range and when you get to 5k RPMs the loss is so much that it will throw you forward in your seat. I just ran some lucas through it on a 500 mile trip and it hasn't gotten any better. No CE light. Im thinking It may be spark since it is at 5k everytime. It just rolled over 27k miles. Plugs and coil packs are original. Will a bad coil pack throw a code? Any help?

only 27k ? damn that things brand new still ..seems like to early for plugs or coils .. even tho no CEL still hook up to scan see if it throws any codes .. Have you tried to reset the ECU .. heard it wakes the car back up when power seems to be gone . still havnt tried though as im not too sure on the exact procedure ..

Fuel Filter? Clogged line somewhere. I would double check your spark plugs just just for the hell of it. Check spark plug wires as well.

Also can you explain the throw forward in your seat????

Well... you know how you are at WOT and you suddenly let out of it and you go flying foward? Like that but not as drastic. My GF notices it also and she don't know much about cars. When I reset it, It felt alot slower until I drove it hard then it started feeling more normal when the tranny started shifting right. When I started it up this morning It had a puffed a big cloud of blue smoke. Oh no... Its always done that alittle bit when I let it sit for a while and start it up for the first time. But not this bad.

I think I may try plugs and wires next or MAF, where do you guy get it from?
