2001: Supercharged E55 AMG
Changed my battery,it's heeeeavy!
It was time to change my factory Mercedes battery, it was getting old since it's been in the car since new/2001. I was getting ESP/ABS/BAS warnings to, and i think they went away now with the new battery! Still have a brake switch if it pops up again though.
And like already been said in earlier threads,stock battery it's quite big and heavy,24 KG (~53lbs)
Replaced it with a new Varta battery that weighs 18 KG (~39,5lbs), much smaller and quite a bit lighter

Yes, the Benz is out again
Have put 2000 KM on it with the new engine to break it in. And yesterday i left it at the workshop for the final things thats left. 82mm TB,injectors,larger MAF housing and a unique custom made special ECU tune. The thing i won't do is a larger crank pulley. To much trouble and possible problems down the road, maybe i'll add that later on.
I'll keep you updated.
