Has anyone tried 285/30/19's?
Was just wondering if anyone here has tried to fit a rear tire 285/30-19's on their 210?
And if so was there any rubbing? Did you have to roll the fenders? How much rolling was involved?
Also wanted to add that the car is lowered with almost a finger gap between tire and fender.
Thanks

with an aggressive fender roll you should be able to fit it easily. Use the tirerack fender rolling tool, it really does the job well and does it with minimum damage to the paint. You should be able to get roughly .5-.75 more clearance on the inner lip and you can roll it almost completely flat.

Thanks!
I think i'll do some test fitments and see if it works. If not i'll just stick with the old 275's. Just don't want to go through all that hassle.

Are you currently using PS2's right now? If so how do you like them? I'm thinking of going that route just not sure about the sidewalls. From what i understand the sidewalls on these tires are somewhat on the tall side? My current SO-3's fits just about right.

Oh yes, I always buy them. You get what you pay for with these tires. The grip awesome in dry or wet, don't need any warm of time to hook up good. The ride is great. The sidewalls soak up most of the bumps. The ride is better than any other low pro tire I've been on. They are quiet and never have any noise, unless you are spinning or sliding. However they suck in cold weather, but thats what they are, a summer tire. Side wall seems normal to me.

Sorry no pics. I'll try and see if i can get some. Car is still sitting at home.
Thanks. I'll take that into consideration.
Did you have to do any fender rolling at all? If so how much rolling did you have to do? How's the sidewall on those PS2's? I had the impression they were somewhat "tall"?
