2002 E55 W210 stock
seat question
Looking for guidance....I have a 2002 W210, absolutely beautiful, all body panels replaced last year with complete paint. looks, drives, runs, etc. like new.
I took out the comand and put in a kenwood 7140 7-inch touch screen with Hertz Energy speakers and hertz amp in the back. just left the passive bose subs. Sounds great, bluetooth, sat, and ipod all up
the only thing i don't like is the seats (6'5" and 250lbs). I took a 2007 out last week and found the seats night and day better.....
has anyone put in Recaros or know if the seats from the W211 or 212 will fit the 210 tracks without negative effect?

no, took it into the dealer to have some seam and trunk button corrosion looked at, and they replaced the 4 doors, 2 front fenders, trunk. I'll see if I can check out the C63 seats, I hadn't thought of that, maybe they'll fit the tracks Mike

From an old post...
The seats in my 210 E55 feel worn out.
Does anyone here know if AMG seats from later years:
1. Bolt in to 210 mounts..?
2. Can the seat controls in the door work the newer seats..?
Anyone done this? Sure would make for a nice upgrade.
