Thinking about adding 2 small resonators to get the sound down a little bit. I love the sound, much more crisp and clatter. But it's really LOUD!

Is it too loud? Nyet!

 

can't really tell if the sound of your car is being bounced off from the buildings surrounding you (too dark to tell).
Does it sound too loud on an open area?
How does it sound while you're inside?
Do you have anti-noise pollution law in your country?
Will cops pull you over for loud exhaust?

if your answer is yes to all 4 questions then you can weigh your decision based on that.

As Peter said, "can't hear the S/C". I agree, my preference is to hear the s/c whine just a tad in order to let people know what you've got under the hood.

 

I like it!!! but ob1kenobi imposes some good questions. We here in CA have noise ordinance and CATs are required. But I do like Sometimes I wish mine was louder. Maybe headers will help! Do you lose performance or gain???

 

I like the sound. But would have to agree, since the car has a S/C it would be nice to hear that aswell.

 

1: A bit more quiet on an open area, this place was filled with sound bouncing buildings.
2: On the level on beeing to much. Wasn't quiet before, but now it's really loud.
3: There is a law against how loud a car can sound, and mine is on the top of whats legal. But the best thing is that you can drive it more quit if you are easy on the throttle.
4: At WOT = Yes At part throttle = No.

The gist of it = I will most likely put the 2 small resonators on to get the sound down a bit. Won't be a dramatic change though.

 

Drive thru a busy neighborhood/residential area... If people mug at you like no other.. its too loud. If no one bothers, then you're fine!

Right now they just seems amazed that it's coming that much sound from a pretty "normal" looking car like a W210 Mercedes Benz. Thats one of my concerns to, a loud Corvette A loud Ferrari A loud Lamborghini But a loud Mercedes

On #2, can you do a video and drive (WOT as well as mid WOT) while the camera is inside the car.

I love the sound of the exhaust the way it is now. You just never really seemed to get on it too much. I think if you did you'd still hear the s/c.
