I am thinking to change my S320 to E55 W210. (I guess I am crazy just by the E55, always want to own W210 and W211) Anyways, I found one in Craiglist from a small dealer who just bought it from Auction.

Silver black with Navi and 2 keys for $7995
It has clean title so what do you guys think ?
The seller claim that already changed the Engine mount.

how about the transmission? Flushed often? rebuilt? i suggest you get it inspected by a dealership, it's worth it.

And you're in Chino? I live right next door in Chino Hills, do you go to the meets around here?

Hey man, I never met anybody in this forum but it will be fun if we can meet for sure. I think you are right, the transmission is the most critical, oh also the Head gasque can cost $1500 to seal.

Sounds like a solid car at a decent price. Do make sure to get a full PPI done and make sure it feels right.

It's been on craigslist for ages. It's in terrible shape. If you go to their site and look through the detailed pics, you can see that every panel looks as if it's been molested before.

Oh .... yea.... this is the one I am talking about. You are right, just double check the pix, the E55 AMG logo is kinda mis-placed. The car might have been repainted. In this case, next one ...

Besides the emblems, the passenger side bumper marker is broken, the passenger fender is a different color, lower door trims on the passenger side don't match, the trunk doesn't align, and the interior couldn't be dirtier.

That car looks pretty good. Check Edmunds.com and eBay for a price estimate. Drive it and see about an inspection if you can.
