Launch control

You want to launch or burn out? ESP off, power brake (left foot brake and right foot gas), rev and release the brake. That will spin the tires and either launch you or burn out, depending how much gas you give it.

burn out
Yeap...there's more like it Saintz.....a controlled burn out. It seems easier than it is on my M3. Thanks. I know how to do it....all I'm missing now is the car....lol. But....it's coming soon....keeping my fingers crossed...

The E55 has almost twice the torque of an M3. Even with traction control on and barely gassing it, if you power brake you will spin the tires.
Unless you're at the track with slicks, you'll probably get a faster launch by easing onto the throttle. Power braking really is going to spin and in my experience it slows you down.

If you turn off the ESP, you will not need to power brake to do a burn-out. Just, put car in "4" (I believe this is the "sport" mode for the transmission) and "hit the gas pedal hard" the tires will break-free .

The only way to truly turn ESP off is dyno mode. This is only on the newer models. No one has found a dyno mode on the W210, as far as I know. Dyno mode is not something you could use on the street, anyway, as it also cuts the ABS and basically makes the car, as Jeremy Clarkson put it, an axe murderer.
