Question please help?

I recently purchased a 2000 E55. I am getting familiar with the vehicle and have searched the owners manual for this info but have been unable to find it. So I turn to you all!
1. In the glove box I have found a allen key (in a Z shape) can someone tell me what this is for?
2. Also in the glove box on the left wall of the glove box I have found what looks to be an input jack of some sort. I cant see it very well was just wondering if anyone knew what it was?
3. I have watched a few videos online showing the miles per hours being dispalyed digitally in the info center while driving. The video I saw this on was a 2001 E55, is this feature availble on the 2000 E55?
4. Does our sunroof have an express open/close feature?

Thanks for all your help.

1) Z shape allen key is for emergency sunroof open/close. you need to remove the the covers in the front headliner lamp & would see the little motor with the allen port
2) Globe box input jack is for an "aux" input (i'm sure you have command) you can connect an ipod or mp3 via minijack wire
3) Speed feature are available in cars 00+. you would depress the arrows in the steering to get the features in the cluster (Song number, millage, speed, and some others)
4) Some cars has auto open but manual close, depend of year, and you would be open/close all windows & roof depressing and hold the buttons (open to open all windows - close to close all windows) in the key direct to the infrareds in the front door handles

Thanks for the info. I will try the jack and see how that works. I did look in the info center and can not find the MPH display anywhere. I did find in the settings section where it is asking if you want MPH or KPH I would assume that would have to be for the display setting? Can someone please tell me exactly where to find this setting if my car is so equipped.
Thanks,

What is the IIRC? I am starting to think that express sunroof open as well as MPH display was only a 2001 and up feature. Does anyone have a 2000 that has these features.

IIRC= If i recall correctly ..
The sunroof should open with just a push of a button if you hold it forj a second i believe . to close it i have to hold the button untill it closes .
Your 2000 should have it if you have same controls 00-02 when u see the screen where it shows the mileage it should be the next one either up or down on the steering wheel control just scroll thru and it should be there unless yours doesnt have it . Also if u reset ur battery might need to setup windows and locks and such .. If you do a search can find the how to's

Anotoly .. The jack is for ipod/MP3 . if you have touchscreen or Aux on headunit . for factory press SVC then on bottom of screen should say
AUX choose that then u can use ipod./MP3 players .

Does your car have command? The mini jack is located inside the glove box on the left inside glove box wall toward the rear of the box.

@Anatoly - I don't have command so I don't have the jack unfortunately. But I consider myself fortunate not to have command LOL.
