Question Whats your 60-100 & 70-120mph times

When I had my AMG I only timed the 0-60 time (5.2/5.3 secs) and did a couple of top speed runs but chickened out at 165mph....plenty left in there as welll!!!! But never timed any 0-100, 60-100 & 70-120 runs. Kicking myself now as I've got nothing to work off with the new car.

I sold the E55 a couple of years ago which was 381bhp & 429lb/ft torque and gone back to a Saab 9000 Aero and I've been tuning it up from 280bhp (stage 3) to its current 450bhp & 425lb/ft (stage 6/7)...so have basically doubled the standard power of 225bhp!

I've not had a chance to properly time the new set up yet (GT3076R turbo) as the weathers been crap back here, but did get a few decent runs with the GT28RS turbo (so roughly 350/360bhp....but could be a touch more as its got bigger cams fitted) so I got the following:

0-60 - 5.3 secs
0-100 - 10.8
50-70 -1.8 secs
60-100 - 4.9 secs
70-120 - 7.8 secs

On the new turbo I've only had a chance to get one or two runs timed and got:

60-100 - 4.3 secs
70-100 - 8.7 secs

Whats everyone getting on their E55 AMG's? Would be interesting to know what the supercharger guys are getting as (I think??) your pushing well over 500bhp which is where I'm heading over the next couple of months (tubular manifold, cams dialled in & 750cc injectors should do it!)

This isn't a 'my cars faster than your car' post. Just interested to see how the Saab compares to the AMG, the Saab does feel a quicker tbh but it could be down to how much more refined and comfortable the AMG was to drive quickly, plus it didn't have a big fat turbo strapped to it so I didn't get the turbo lag that I get now, where there's virtually nothing below 3.5k (drives like a stage 3 car) then it just takes off when the turbo comes in.

Thanks, but those 0-60 figures seem a bit optimistic. My E55 was definitely not sub 5 secs 0-60!...no matter how many times I tried and even on some grippy tyres I couldn't get it below 5.2 with an extra 27bhp & 38lb/ft over standard ....... Unless those figures are for a tuned car with some decent bhp numbers?
I think standard cars get there in around 5.7 secs?
