Just lowered it.

I bought an H&R springs to lower my car. After lowering my car I see 2 problems. First problem the front did not drop that much, I know I need to wait for a few days until it settles but if you compare how much the back drop its a big difference. Second problem is the back passenger side is scraping. When the car bounce it scrapes but just the back passenger side only. I just dont get why the right side is scraping. Check out the pictures and my bro's 124

Spring Pads

You're probably still using the stock spring pads upfront which are # 3. Change that to spring psd # 1 which is the lowest setting and that should solve your problem.

that's weird though, the front is like stock height. I was debating over vogtlands and H&R today. When you get this figured out, I'd like to see the finished results!

i used H&R's and my car sat great both front and rear but the spring pads like they said should be changed to 1 spring pad also not to sound like a *** but check the springs maybe they were installed wrong. As far your rear most likey your shocks are worn if you have never changed them could be causing the rubbing hope that helps.

After checking what has been said previously, get a suspension alignement check done. That could/should solve the rubbing issue. What I don't understand, is the rubbing on both sides on the rear or only on one side?

That's an easy one- your shock in the rear is shot.. How many miles? Also take a look at the tire on the outerside to make sure it's not rubbing on the fender our cars come with the fenders already rolled. I would never recommend doing the springs alone it's always best to do springs/shocks at the same time and springs pads to lower even more. I went with spring pads#1 but it was just toooooo low and went back to factory spring pads #3 but still having a nice stance. It really depends on the spring/combo.

@ Armani
The car has 74k I just bought the car a month ago and it came with a bilstein shocks. I will get the shock check if it still good. Is the pads and shims the same? Did you change all pads in your car? My bro said I need to change the pads in the front to a thiner one. Can you buy the pads at the dealership?
Your car looks great! When you have 3 or 4 passengers in your car does it rub?
Thanks

is there a noticable drop if you just stick with the stock springs and go to #1 pads?

Thanks! pads/shimes yes at first I wanted it a little lower but number one pads/shimes slammed my car, Peter a member here had number 3 pads that were sitting in his garaged. Shipped them to me and my current set up is stock again which happen to be number 3 pads. Dealer sells them for around $20

No rubbing and I've had about 5 in the back before with 2 in the front

Eibach Pro with Bilstein HD Love it!!!

It really depends on the set up- as you can see my pic above my stance I think is nice (#3 pads) Eibach Pro with Bilstein HD but when I had the #1 pads it was really slammed and that was with all 4 new shocks. Older shocks will dip a tad.
