First set of tires at 70,000 miles the Continental ContiSportContact 2, great tires probably my favorite.

Second set of tires at 100,000 miles (yes the Continentals lasted 30,000) I went stock and got the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2, great tires.

Third set of tires at 130,000 miles (yes the Michelins lasted another 30,000) I went with the Pirelli PZero Nero All Season, the manager at Globe Tire Motorsports talked me into them. Yes they were $100 cheaper per tire, but in retrospect I think I should have just gone with the Michelins or the Continentals. A wise man once told me that you get what you pay for. I'll let you know if the Pirellis last.

The Pirellis are quiet in the beginning but get loud as they wear. Not to mention, they get scary to drive with in the rain once they're at around 50%.

yup the rear is wrong.

E55 have staggered wheels and tires application. You can verify this by looking at the label on the driver side door jamb.

Rears should be 275 35 18.

same size
Maybe the previous owner was trying to save money so he can rotate the tires. Actually, there is nothing wrong in putting the same size tires in the front and back. In the winter I put snows on mine, and they are the same size front and back with the stagger rims.
