I tried to pull on the plastic handle under the footwell and it broke hence I tried to pull with my fingers. I got the driver's side of the front latch open but the other side kind of stuck. The cable appears have been stretch so I will have to get a new one. Meanwhile, does anyone knows how to get at the front latch without having to break the grille. I figure, if I apply too much preasure on the cable, it might break and I'll be really **** creek!!
