The "new star" came with an engine cover attached to it...
Well, I looked at stars from other models, ebay, junk yards, aftermarket stuff, etc, etc...and gave up looking. Called a good friend in Germany, and he graciously ordered and shipped a brand new AMG engine cover. Final price was just below what the MB dealer asked for here in TX. Posting 1 pic. The old cover without the star is for sale if anyone is interested...PM me.
