i'd rather try plasti-dip on mine before spending $150 for a grill. i'm thinking about doing it this weekend if the weather stays nice.
that grill does look good though.

If it was OEM MBZ grill , id pay $150 for a professionally painted grill .. But most likely its aftermarket and painted .. Theres a place on ebay selling aftermarket grill for 65 or best offer .. Offer $50 and they will accept includes shipping u get a brand new chrome one aftermarket of course .. just about any local bump n paint shop they should be able to hit it for $50-$100 but would figure under 100. Most will advise you that they wont guarentee chipping so its a do at your own risk .. I painted my aftermarket my self with satin black rattle can paint and clear coated the sh*t out of it , hit wetsand, clearcoat again like 3-4 times .. took me a couple days and when i was finished i was happy with results . I always looked at plasti dip as poor mans paint job , but today i bit my tongue and sprayed my trunk emblems with it .. pretty cool stuff figuring its harmess to paint job . It has a flat black color to it .. best thing IMO is that if you dont like it can just peel it off .. Im gonna leave it on for now and see if it comes off when i was the car . One other thing im going to try next is using the Night Shades lense tint spray that they use to smoke out the tailights with .. Im gonna spray the chrome grill with that and it supposed to look like a black chrome grill with i think would look cool figuring some of the trim around the windows has that blackish metal look to it
btw , my grill has chipped in a couple places but i just used some of my mbz touch up black paint and its blends that you have to inspect it to notice it .. i prefer more satin or little gloss then flat black on my grill but to each is own
how mine looks with black grill
