My E
Hello MBWorld. I've purchased an 02 E55 recently and am grinning. The E seems to be an upgrade in EVERY way from my last auto, an 01 CLK55. Yesterday, i took the E to replace the resonator and it was brought to my attention that it had a set of H&R springs already installed. Rims & tires are stock spec'd. After closer inspection, I came upon these figures for my ride height:
ground to fender - fr. 26.75" w/ about a 3 finger gap
rear 26" w/ 1.5 finger gap
what's up w/ that?
I'm a mostly stock kinda guy and the car rides and handles quite well.

The car has some raking, which I want inverted. I've thought of adjusting the ride height with pads but am leaning towards the Euro spring setup. So, if anyone is interested is some H&R's, let me know.

Mine pretty much sits the same way with H&R springs but is a bit lower with #1 pads all around. The rear tires are damn near flush and I've got about 2 fingers of gap in the front.
